Desert Inn Opened in 1950 as Wilbur Clark's Desert inn. In 1967 the were called Desert Inn and changed names in 1988 to MGM Desert Inn untill 1991 when they changes there name back to Desert inn. in 1993 the changed it to Sheraton Desert inn/ Desert inn untill 2000 when they closed to tear it down for the Wynn hotel.
